HOBBY LOBBY & GREEN FAMILY DONATE $8 St. GREGORY'S UNIVERSITY TO OBU


Hobby Lobby purchased St. Gregory's 73-acre University, a Catholic college in Shawnee, Oklahoma, that closed in late 2017 for $8 million dollars. Now Hobby Lobby and the Green family will be donating that same university to Oklahoma Baptist University.

Hobby Lobby and the Green family, who are longtime owners of the business, will announce the donation during an event at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The event will take place in the Rockwood Center northwest of Benedictine Hall on St. Gregory’s former campus.
